OEM Sales Representative, Midwest Regionally Based

We are looking for a “high energy, go getting” OEM Sales Rep. This is an outside sales/account management position. Must be willing to travel to customer locations throughout the East Coast. Will work from home office.Drive, creativity and excellent communication skills are a must for this position.

Experience with OEM Furniture sales required.

Position Summary:

  • Working with operations & sales staff to establish a communication path with the customer
  • Develop sales contacts, research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner
  • The ideal candidate for this position would also be able to evaluate the performance and strength of the OEM products, therefore sales forecasting and planning as well as negotiating agreements, provision of customer merchandize training, and customer product assimilation support would be done.
  • Assist in determining market strategies & goals for each product and service along with researching and developing lists of potential customers
  • The OEM Sales rep will be resposible for evaluating product and application of customers’ technical & manufacturing needs
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
  • Establishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
  • Develop and participate in sales presentations

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • OEM, Furniture sales experience required.
  • 4 year college degree with a focus on a technical or engineering major
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience utilizing custom solutions approach
  • Strong communication skills

Executive Assistant, Garrett, IN

We are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant who will be accountable for the ongoing Support of our CEO. Ability to multitask and the ability to support high-level executives within our organization is required. This position will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion . Drive, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are a must for this diverse position.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare presentations and communication for the CEO and Executive staff and assemble printed materials when needed including but not limited to Quarterly Board presentations and reports, monthly Board calls, company meetings, and other presentations as requested.
  • Manage CEO and Executives meeting calendars and coordinate travel when needed by providing the following resources;
  • Plan and coordinate all travel for the CEO and executive staff including securing flight arrangements, vehicle reservations, and hotel accommodations and coordinating travel agenda’s as needed.
  • Negotiate local and national hotel rates when needed to provide cost reductions when available. Includes coordination of the Hilton World-wide program.
  • Coordinate all expense reporting for CEO and executives by gathering receipts, preparing expense reports and submitting for processing.
  • Manage conference room scheduling and work with employees to coordinate appropriate meeting schedules.
  • Arrange and pick up lunches for special groups/sales reviews and customer visits and keep refreshments stocked in conference rooms.
  • Coordinate all meeting requests and appointments for CEO and other executives as required.
  • Establish priorities in response to work flow of the CEO, CFO, COO & other Executive Staff and adjust scheduling when needed to accommodate shifting schedules.
  • Screen calls and visitors to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Coordinate with Director of Sales Administration to provide the following support to the commercial sales team

Qualifications:

  • Degree preferred

New Product Sourcing Manager, Garrett, IN

Dekko is looking for a New Product Sourcing Manager, this creative individual will demonstrate leadership in communicating sourcing objectives and business goals through the global supply chain. You will assist the Strategic Sourcing Manager here at Dekko to lead and accelerate procurement and supplier management activities for electronics and wire commodity spends, with the goal of achieving significant reductions in total cost of ownership along with improvements in quality and on-time delivery performance. This role is pivotal in executing and negotiating all quoting activities including supplier selection for new product and new customer quotes generated by the Assemblies Division (Transportation, White Goods, Industrial/Commercial and Medical). Additionally, this role will manage the NPI sourcing onboarding process for new Assemblies customers and products.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary interface from the Supply Management and Sourcing function within the New Business quoting cycle.
  • Establish and maintain meaningful supplier performance metrics in which to judge supplier value and quoting performance.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers including negotiating directly with component manufactures.
  • Lead the supplier RFP process including bid, negotiation, qualification, award and start of production for assigned commodities.
  • Maintain and promote sound relationships with suppliers and the business community.
  • Work with all functional areas, including Quality, Finance, Operations, Program Mgm’t, Engineering and Marketing/Sales to deliver best quality, delivery, process and performance at lowest cost.
  • Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable costs.
  • Oversee and execute all areas related to NPD sourcing of Assemblies Division related quotations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, engineering or business management
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Global Sourcing or Program Management.
  • Must have prior experience sourcing catalogue and assembled connectors, terminals, backshells, etc , as well as automotive primary wire with experience and understanding of manufacture direct negotiation practices and competitive price targets.
  • International sourcing experience (Asia, Europe, Latin America)
  • Knowledge of AIAG standards (APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP)
  • General comfort level with engineering drawings and technical aptitude to understand BOMs, cut sheets and other documentation.

Maintenance Technician, Avilla, IN

We are looking for a Motivated Maintenance Technician with an electrical background. Drive, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are a must for this diverse position.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Install and maintain manufacturing and office equipment.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of all parts and equipment to maximize run time
  • Monitors operations and suggests any mechanical/electrical changes or upgrades that would increase efficiency
  • Inform supervisor/Plant Manager of problems found and corrections needed to make repair/installation
  • Inform Production Manager/Plant Manager of material needs in advance to insure minimal downtime and confusion
  • Monitor working atmosphere, report potential equipment failure, or physical hazards that will result in unwanted expenses or safety issues.
  • Preventative maintenance of equipment and molds.
  • Work with tooling mgr. to assist in scheduling outside repairs as needed.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge in factory maintenance and building maintenance methods.
  • Familiar with Plumbing and Mechanical codes and standards.
  • Good understanding of industrial Ventilation equipment and cooling units.
  • Industrial plumbing and sanitary plumbing skills.
  • Able to read standard blue prints.
  • Communication skills that will allow for technical to ordinary communication.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Manufacturing Background
  • H/S diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior tooling repair experience is helpful.
  • Electrical certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-department team
